How much will this cost me.
There is no one right way to
determine this because it all depends on the business opportunity
you are considering. I have seen business opportunities where there
is zero cost to join, but your advertising costs are very high. I
have also seen the opposite where the cost to join a business
opportunity is high, but because of the extra support and
better quality of the product, your advertising costs are much
lower.
The one main thing to remember is to
not spend more money than you can afford on your business expenses.
Also, based on the business you are in, you may not make any sales
in the first few months. This is normal and don't take this as a
signal to give up right away. If you are truly serious about being a
success on the Internet, you must give it at least twelve months
before giving up.
As a rule of thumb, do not plan to
spend more than 10% of what you are planning to make the following
month. For example, next month I plan to make $5000 in sales.
Therefore this month, I plan to only spend $500 in advertising.
